One Small Step For Me, One Giant Leap For.. Me?? Does That Make Sense??

YEAH!!! I completed my first page!!! ^^ I will try to go on tomorrow. I will aim to complete a 300 page book by the end of the school holidays. =D And if I can print it out into a hard copy, I'll let everyone read it. I call it 'Point Break - Evolution' (Does that sound too cliche'???) Well, basically (read the plot at the bottom of some of the posts to learn some more) it's about this love story kinda thingy between the main character(Cecil, this human/penguin guy who doesn't take anybody's crap) and a girl he had to leave behind in New York when he moved to San Francisco years ago. They initially despise each other when the girl (Laura, human/penguin girl who lived in NY) arrives in San Francisco via a transfer program, organized by Cecil's commanding officer, Marcus. (Marcus(wolf/human guy who was in the army before the virus) feels Cecil is lonely and decides to hire some new recruits from NY) Learning Cecil survived the virus, (She kinda hoped he'd died) Laura wants to return to NY along with the other transferees, only to find that in the weeks she left to travel to San Francisco, Iden-NY completely destroyed and took over NY colony, codenamed Donut Land (Big Apple, Big Apple Donuts??? Get it?? Owh, nvm..) She is forced to stay in San Francisco along with the others. Cecil is given the task of teaching her the ways to being a warrior (soldier)(Laura was a medic in NY) They soon begin to develop feelings for each other, blah blah blah. Something like Twilight, but without the emo people, vampires, Paramore (Though if I HAD made the animation, I'd put in at least ONE Paramore song) etc. etc. Well, if you disagree with the Twilight thingy, I don't care, I never read or watched Twilight :). Oh, yeah, there are also tonnes of other characters, like Kyle(Half husky guy who is Cecil's team mate and close friend in his battalion), Mort(Beaver kinda person who's good with computers), Norah(Half husky girl who despises Kyle because he is an 'asshole'), Michelle(I dunno, I need to add some descriptions), Lewis(Half eagle guy who teaches flying at the aviary), etc. etc. So, yeah, that's what the story is basically like, guns, people/animals, cars, love, violence (the funny type), technology, etc. etc. I got some sketches, I'll try to upload them sometime. In the mean time.. typing* Owh, yeah, I just remembered. If I HAD made an animation, the soundtrack would include:
