Latest buzz doing the rounds is that Priyanka Chopra is the next Race girl. Well, Priyanka Chopra will star in Abbas-Mustan’s ‘Race 2’ to be produced by Ramesh Tarauni. Till last week, it was Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone who were signed for the film. But now, things are not the same.
news has it that PC has liked the script and is very likely to replace Deepika in the film.
Sources say that director duo Abbas-Mustan are waiting for Priyanka’s final confirmation to start the film.
The source explained, “The producers of the film have already spoken to Priyanka, who is sorting out her dates. After the success of Race, the writers of the film and Abbas-Mustan took their time before finalizing the sequel. Abbas-Mustan were sure that they would only start the film, if they got the right script. Now, the makers are awaiting Priyanka to officially come on-board.”
John Abraham is all set to play the baddie in the film while Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor are the only original actors who are retained for the sequel.
